Manchester/London bedroom pop artist Freak Slug has joined downtempo beat-maker niquo for a new collaborative EP titled Videos, from which we've already tasted the delights of the catchy first single 'Care'. Second track on the EP 'I'm Not Waiting (U Can't Come Over)' is particularly special. It opens with guitar plucks that wobble with chorus, followed by the sturdy drum beat. Chilled, but soulfully inflected, Freak Slug's vocals explain, 'you can't come around, put your set world on me, that won't happen anymore.'.
